Company Background
At first, I intended to become a computer animator and went to school fully motivated to become just that. I had to first take introductory computer courses before I could get accepted into the program. Well, one thing led to another and 2 years went by and I was a graduate of the Computer Systems Technology Program at NAIT and became a Systems Analyst without ever planning to become one.
This fortunate turn of events has lead me to many years in the IT industry working for a lot of great companies. I've learned a lot from them, and have experienced many ups and downs throughout the years. I've been involved in numerous projects (big and small) that had great potential, but were either designed with older technology, or built in such a quick fashion that it was developed half-assed and pushed out just to meet a strict deadline.
What I got out of my time with these companies, is the fact that I care in developing a top quality software product and being proud of the work that I've done. I don't want to rush a product to market and have it lacking features or full of bugs. I want my clients to feel like they have received a top quality product built with care and passion. And that's what I always strive for.
So, in 2005, I decided to start my own software company where I didn't have to deal with all of the red tape that I found to be, more often than not, detrimental, not only to the quality of these products, but to the timely completion of them as well. Now, I can use the latest in technology and create quality software in a timely fashion that my clients can be proud to use.
